Every so often, we ask for your help by way of time, treasure and talent. We ask for your prayers and financial support. We are actually in real need of monthly financial support and will always need your prayers.

Currently, we get about 15-20 calls a month asking for help with a loved one and sometimes the addict themselves will reach out. We don’t ask for any money when we engage those in such desperation. We don’t ignore anyone based on his or her ability to pay us back with any measure of appreciation. We are here to help connect people to recovery resources for freedom and the abundant life!

We do however realize that this work takes time, patience and skill. We also realize many people, families, businesses, and churches simply do not have the capacity to engage these troubling affairs.

One time gifts work too! We are a registered 501-c3 non-profit and all donations are tax deductible.

We are thrilled to report an answer to prayer: We found a house for the men!

God has been very kind though some long time friends to allow us to rent a classic 3 bedroom/2 bath home in Torrance with a gigantic backyard that is perfect for social gatherings!

Stay tuned for invites in the future!

We will host 4 residents at a time with oversight by our faithful and wise resident manager Brendan Baltimore. We are very grateful!

We will be moving throughout next week (May 24th – 29th) and will fully occupy the home beginning June 1st, 2017.

If you’d like to help us move contact Brendan Baltimore at (310)654-9186 or e-mail him at Brendan@harborrockrecovery.org.

We could use some additional financial support at this time too! Consider giving here: Support Harbor Rock Recovery

Thank you for praying, supporting and believing in the work of Harbor Rock Recovery. There is a solution!

Blogging as Harbor Rock will be labor of faith, hope and love.

You’ve gotta know that the life I live is and has been an amazing gift from God! I couldn’t have dreamed this life up the ways it has unfolded…AND it has been labor. My dad would tell me anything worth while is worth working for.

Well, I have been given incredible gifts. Salvation and sobriety.  FREE gifts from God and yet my life of faith and recovery has been filled with some real labor. Trusting God and being responsive to Gods ways takes energy and action.

I trust you know exactly what I mean.

On this road to “Happy Destiny” may we labor in faith, hope and love together!

Consider joining us on this road, Pray for us, Come to a meeting, send some financial support.  We are in this together and cannot do it alone.

Looking forward,

PD
